曾经盛极一时的报刊亭就像是城市中的眼睛，目睹着每天不断上演着的柴米油盐，生活琐碎都逃不过它的“眼睛”。然而，这个众声喧嚣的时代里，消息的传播也不过是指尖轻点。我们随着时代的脚步越走越远，有些东西正在悄然退出我们的生活，而我们却毫无察觉。
为此我们以报刊亭复兴为切入点，引入城市微更新的文化传播、社交空间、便民服务、绿色环保等理念，从内而外对这一既是微型建筑又是大型产品的公共装置进行升级改造，以报刊亭为核心构建社区文化生活圈，完成必要的转型。
Newsstands are like the eyes of the city, witnessing the continuous performance of daily life. However, in this noisy era, the spread of news is just a tap of a fingertip. As we go further and further along with the times, something is quietly withdrawing from our lives without us noticing.
Taking the revival of newsstands as the starting point, we introduce the concepts of urban micro-renewal of cultural communication, social space, convenient services, and green environmental protection, and upgrade this public installation, which is both a micro-building and a large-scale product, from the inside out. The newsstand will be the core of building a community cultural life circle and complete its reborn.
媒体技术的变革让远方的事物离我们更近，却也让近处的事物离我们更远。EVERGLOW也寄托着我们对于城市人文情怀的美好愿景。希望有一天我们能让报刊亭重新回归大众视野，真正守住这一份纯粹的市井生活。
The development of media technology has brought distant things closer to us, but also made nearby things farther away. EVERGLOW also entrusts our beautiful vision for the city's humanistic feelings. I hope that one day we can bring newsstands back to the public vision, and truly retain this pure folk culture.
